Dear Kruger family,
It was with sadness that I read the obituary of the passing of your husband and father, Alma. My acquaintance with him goes back a long way to the time when he was working at the Post Office. When I would come in to mail things and have my children in tow, he would always kid them and give them a stamp on their hand. He made his service at the Post Office a pleasure. Later, after he retired, I enjoyed seeing him and greeting him at Dan's where he was a bagger. He often helped me with groceries to my car. I just wanted you to know what a kind, gentlemanly person your dear Alma was to people with whom he interacted in his professional life. With my sympathy,

Dear Kruger’s,
Our love goes out to all of you. Alma was such a fun man to be around. I saw him on a regular basis at the post office when I worked for a publishing company. Seeing him at family outings with Russ and Susan was just an added benefit. His laugh and smile have always been contagious.
We pray the Lord will be with you and comfort you!
Love always!

Dear Kruger Family: I want to express my deepest sympathy to all of you. I have so many great and fond memories of your family and your dad. The neighborhood baseball games (with the great white J.R. aka Lloyd), the sunday night popcorn parties and grasshopper pies from Inez. Thank you all for letting me be apart of your family. Your dad's relentless teasing alway's kept me thinking of something I could do or say to not let him think he got me. But he usually won the tease. I alway's loved his great smile and his kind heart. I have wonderful childhood memories because of your family, especially my friendship with Lorraine. Thanks for letting me tag along and share all that love and kindness. My best wishes to all. Losing those we love is so hard, but we have a great eternal plan to help us through it. With my love, Heidi

Dear Marlene, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I remember when I worked at Dan's Foods on 21st South. He always had a contagious smile and laugh. Now, that laugh is silent..just remember all of the good memories of him, I will. I'm sure that he was welcomed into the kingdom of our Father, with "well done, thou good and faithful servant." I give my love to your wonderful family. Linda

Dear Aunt Hilda and Family:
Words cannot express the great sorrow that we felt on hearing of Alma's passing. When I think of Uncle Alma the first thing that comes to mind is his great laugh when he was teasing the children.
He could bring joy and laughter to any room just by walking into it.
What a wonderful spirit.
Although we can't be there in person, our thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time.

Dear Family of Brother Kruger, I want to express my sympathy to you for such a great loss by Alma's passing. I am a stranger to your family but I must tell you how this dear man ALWAYS touched my heart when I met him at the Post Office. He was such a gentle giant. The world will not be the same without him. He is the best example I know of humble, Christlike love. He taught me the value of courtesy and love to everyone! Please know your family is appreciated because this dear man represented you well!
-Most Sincerely,
Carol Moss, a Post Office Patron [and SL Temple Patron]
