Alta Bullock Obituary

Alta Alline Bullock 1915~2003  Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Alta Alline Bullock, 87, died peacefully July 21, 2003 in Salt Lake. She was born August 30, 1915 in Dexter, Cook County, Texas, the youngest of seven children, to Charley and Cora McKenzie. She married Jesse Honri Bullock, Feb. 14, 1943 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Oakland, California, LDS Temple. Before residing in Salt Lake City, Alline was a longtime resident of Merced, California. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 60 years, and her family was of utmost importance. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild were special joys in her life. A faithful member of the LDS Church, she served in many different callings, and especially enjoyed serving in the Relief Society. Alline is survived by husband Jesse; her son Roger H. (Catherine) of Salt Lake City; daughter, Martha (Crea) McMullin of Denver; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful caregivers at the Sara Daft Home, Silverado Senior Living, Brighton Gardens, and Hospice For Utah.
