Amelia Bishop Obituary
Our loving wife, mother and grandmother, Molly Jane passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 21, 2016. She was born on February 25, 1935 in SLC, UT to Alfred George Stone and Amelia Hvala Stone.
She graduated from West High School where she met the love of her life, Ronald Willard Bishop. They were married on February 26, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple and spent 62 loving years together. They raised four wonderful children; Kerry, Bret, Suzie and Kori. Molly loved unconditionally. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her kindness and selflessness. She was a great example to all who knew her.
Molly is survived by her husband Ron, children; Kerry (Judy), Bret (Cheryl), Kori, grandchildren; Kyle, Kami, Dana Jr, Kristi, Brooklyn, Kevin, Deana, Blake, Brynlee and Ava, 15 great grandchildren, and a sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, and her daughter Suzie Starkey (Dana Sr.)
A viewing will be held Friday June 24, 2016 from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the Bennion 12th ward, 6550 South 2700 West Taylorsville, UT. Funeral Services will be Saturday June 25, 2016 at 12:00 noon with a viewing from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the same location. Directors Independent Funeral Service.
