Amir Pezeshki Obituary

Amir AzizPezeshki "Beloved father, grandpa and brother"  Amir Aziz Pezeshki, 84, passed away at his home in Midvale on November 29, 2002. He was born June 5, 1918 in Tabriz, Iran to Abbas Goli and Soraya Nouroozov Pezeshki. He married Azam Mozi in Tabriz-Sarab, Iran on Jan 22, 1948. Amir was the Chief Financial Officer for the City of South Teheran and worked as a National Undercover Agent for Drugs in Iran. He published one book with one thousand in print and has authored seven other books as well as several thousand poems published in newspapers internationally. Survivors: wife, Azam; children, Kambiz (Shiron), Kamran (Tanya), Kamyar (Mary), Kamelia; grandchildren, Shahene, Shahla, Laleh Miller, Arya; great-grandson, Solomon Miller; brothers, Behrouz, Firouz, Cyrus (Marjorie), Hedayat (Bonnie). Services Thurs. Dec 5, 2002, starting at 2 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, 12 North "C" Street, Salt Lake City. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Thurs. 1-2 p.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
