Arline Smith Obituary

Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister-in-law, and Friend passed away October 4, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Arline was born May 10, 1917 to Leo N. Morriss and Ida Alfreda Bergstrom. She lost her mom when she was twelve and helped raise her siblings. She married Alton Leroy Partington, whom later passed away leaving Arline to raise their son, Lee. She later married Thomas Kenneth Smith, together they had a daughter and the four of them became a loving family. Arline is survived by her loving daughter, Penny (Chuck) Squires, three grandchildren, Randy (Ashlee), Brian (Christie), and Tracy, four great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, son, parents, brother, and sister. We want to thank Wendy, Nubia, Melissa, Stephanie, and IHC Hospice for the loving care they gave "Mum".
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, "N" Street and 4th Avenue at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be held at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City Tuesday, from 6-8 PM and Wednesday, 11:30-12:30 prior to the service.
You were there for my first breath and I was there for your last breath. What a beautiful journey. Thanks Mom.
