Barbara Jean Caddy Matriarch of the family Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and great-great-great-grandmother, Barbara, pass-ed away peacefully on April 18, 2008. Born Oct. 23, 1920 to Frank Kroh Foster and Leona Lewis, raised by her beloved grandmother Emily Lewis. Married Leland Anderson 1937~1969, later married Alfred Caddy in 1970. She leaves behind her three daughters; Gail (Ewald) Erichsen, Vicki (Tony) Cobos, Leslie (Bill) Smith, son in-law Gene Borg, two stepchildren; Deon Caddy and Cathy Withey; brother, Ron; sister, Jane and 93 grandchildren. She was proud to have had two sets of five generations. Preceded in death by her husband, daughter Bonnie, brother, Richard and sister, Flora and five grandchildren. She will be missed and loved by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City, with a viewing from 1-2:45 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray. To my most perfect mother, I am so thankful you spent the last 7 years with me and my family here in Colorado. My kids worshiped the ground you walked on. Your bedroom will always be here with all your fancy things in it. I did give all your clothes and some jewelry to your grandchildren and extended ones. I also gave the little things that ment so much, to your first grandchildren. I know you are out of pain and I am so thankful for that.You did not want all the needles and other stuff and I did stand by my word to you. Please accept my deepest sympathies. I didn't know Barbara well but, I remember meeting her! I thought she was a millionare! She was one of the prettiest ladies that I had ever seen! I believe I was nine years old. I believe she came along with all of the kids and Bonnie to clean out Lee's things at the little house behind my Dads house after he had passed away. It could have been another day though, long ago. I remember Lee always finding a fifty cent piece behind my ear! He was so nice. Boy, Barbara was the most regal woman and she was so very nice to me that day. I met some of you that day, and then I went on to discover that I was going to school with David at Eisenhower Jr. High. I am so sorry about Barbara and about Bonnie she was so sweet to me also. Comical too! She made my dad laugh when they visited. My dad is Jerry Lee, Take care all! Dixie Lee Suter

Hi I am very sorry about Barbara as our families go back a long way from Iowa. I remember when Barbara came back to my dad's funeral and her and Pam ahd a great time.
