Benjamin Paul Tanner "Ben" Our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, Ben Tanner, 30, died unexpectedly on June 21, 2008.He was born March 22, 1978 in Murray, Utah to John Benjamin and Kathy Gail Tanner of Sandy, Utah. Ben loved outdoor activities, camping, hunting, fishing, car racing and his niece Ashlynn. He adored her. Ben was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He faced many trials and challenges in life and now his spirit is free. The pain is gone. Ben, know that we love you very much. You will be missed. Survived by his parents, brothers, John J. (Wendy), and Travis R. (Sosha), one sister; Angie (Clark) Stippich, his beloved niece; Ashlynn, nephews; Jonah Tanner, Isaac Stippich, Kyler Weice, and AJ Olson, and niece; baby Lilia Tanner, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents; Paul and Margaret Tanner, Verdi Rasmussen and Della Miller, brother; Chad, and uncle; Paul Tanner. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Alta Heights Ward, 8600 S. 1500 E., Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT and one hour prior to the service at the ward.
