Murray, UT—Brad Alan Enman passed away on the morning of Friday, April 30, 2021, at the age of 69, of a stage 4 glioblastoma brain tumor. Brad died peacefully at home with his loving family at his side.

Brad was born in Salt Lake City to parents Ralph and Veryl (Jensen) Enman.

Brad had a strong work ethic and a desire to help others. He enlisted in the Army in 1970 and served in Vietnam in the Army Corp of Engineers earning the National Defence Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, two Bronze Stars and two Outstanding Sharpshooter badges. He was invited by the U.S. Army to be trained for special forces but chose the civilian life instead. After an honorable discharge, Brad returned to Utah and started a business that would support his family for almost 30 years. He offered hope for a new beginning by hiring many young men who were down on their luck. More than once he bailed employees out of jail or went looking for them in the middle of the night when wives would call because their husbands didn't come home from work. He often gave his business card to homeless men while offering them jobs. Brad was eager to teach all the skills that he had acquired in life to his employees and through the years many have expressed their appreciation for Brad's guidance, seeing him as a father figure and mentor. He was a hard taskmaster and always expected his employees to be honest and do their best.

Brad had a lifelong love for animals and the wild and found solace in hunting, fishing and camping and shared this passion with as many as he could. Many years ago Brad and Jackie purchased land in the High Uintas and throughout the years opened their hearts and their land to scores of people from every walk of life. They felt compelled to share the beauty and peace that their beloved mountains offered. Through this many visitors became 'family.'

Brad was proceeded in death by his parents, Ralph and Veryl Enman and a brother, Terry Enman. He is survived by wife, Jacqueline (Moore) Enman; children Tara (Rex) Farley, Heather (Jim) Thorstenson, Rachael (Keith) Hoffmeyer, and Carl (Regina) Enman, 2 older brothers, John Enman and Rodger (Joann) Enman, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held May 15th, 2021 at 1:30 pm at Discovery Christian Community Church 5929 South 900 East Salt Lake City, Utah. All are invited to attend. Masks are optional. Social distancing is advised.
