Brett James Haycock

1964-2021

Salt Lake City, UT—Brett James haycock, 57, of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away November 4, 2021 after a short battle with lung disease and cancer.

Brett was born on August 1, 1964 to Gary Haycock and Fran (Davis) Haycock. He grew up in SLC Ut with his brother Todd Haycock and sister Carrie Rotz.

As a family we had great times growing up with fun summers at Bear Lake. Brett also enjoyed his time on hunting trips with his Grandpa, Dad, brother and uncle Bob, as well as many various friends that would always accompany them. There were month long hunts spent with his brother and friends later in life that they always lived for. He enjoyed spending time with his nephews, Cody and Colton when they arrived. Taking them camping as well as the times at Bear Lake.

Survived by his father Gary Haycock; brother Todd Haycock; sister Carrie Rotz and two nephews Cody Lexes and Colton Lexes, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Fran Haycock; grandparents James and Bernice Haycock, Howard and Marie Davis.

The family will announce a celebration of life when plans have been finalized.
