I have good memories of Calvin. Climbing Lone Peak, primitive camping in the Deep Creek Mountains, boating at Flaming Gorge and Lake Powell, sharing Navy Vietnam stories and being brothers in unity against a top heavy overlording hierarchical cult we somehow got caught up in for a while. I always liked his vocabulary, especially when he would say, "Mercy" when referencing something ridiculous. Although we drifted apart over the years, I am appreciative of knowing him and his friendship.

I am grateful for the experiences I had the last 5+ years with my dad in visiting him at his property and watching and helping him build his retirement home on raw land. We were able to connect on a new and beautiful level where I saw him grow into his joy and I loved all the boating time we got to have just the two of us. I love all the deep conversations we got to have out there getting to know one another, with, as if almost magically, no one else on the lake. I love you dad.

I have not heard Calvin's name in more than over 60 years. If this is the same Calvin Bray who attended grade school at Geneva School in Orem Utah, then we were classmates in 5th and 6th grades and we played together in Little League baseball for the Geneva Indians. He was our Catcher. Please accept my condolences and best wishes.

Calvin was very creative and was part of my photography business for a number of years. The "Braybodies" he created were a big hit! He was a skilled carpenter and learned how to take photos quite well. He had the cutest nick names for his kids, Jehiah and Jarryd. They were the lights of his life!!
