Chad West Obituary

Chad Andrew West

1967-2020

Heber City, UT—Chad was born to John M. and Dona (Miller) West on February 15, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He died on December 11, 2020. He is survived by his mother, Dona, brother Marc (KayeLynn), sister Lisa, many nieces and nephews, and his Heber family. We will never forget his quick wit, his ability to tell a story, his charitable heart, or his strong opinions about everything he chose to like or dislike. Thank you to those who have shared stories about Chad on social media. Chad touched many lives, and will live on in our hearts.

The family will be forever grateful to Utah and Wasatch County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescues, and all the people that helped in the search and recovery of our beloved son, brother and uncle.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, the family will host a celebration of Chad's life after the vaccine is available when family and friends can gather safely. Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Chad's name to the Utah Food Bank.

Chad was a great friend. I was able to work with him at Tri-Valley and we had lots of good memories. We spent a lot of time snowmobiling in the back country. Day and night time riding. It was always a good time around Chad. He had a big heart and was always thinking of helping everyone. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know him. My prayers go out to all his family and friends.

I have known Chad since I was 5. He and I did everything together! from our hot wheels to swimming! I can't remember a single disagreement he and I ever had. My wife and I went to high school with him at Brighton. Whenever I think of childhood memories they all include Chad! I last talked to him in November and were planning on going to see him. He will be greatly missed! I am sorry for your loss West faamily!
