Christopher McPherson

Missoula-Christopher T McPherson, 50, passed away at home on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).
Christopher was born on April 21, 1962 in Salt Lake City to Dennis McPherson and Dorothy Thomas McPherson. Christopher served honorably in the army from 1981-1984.
Christopher married Susan Starnes in Salt Lake City and they later divorced. Chris moved to Missoula and worked at Jiffy Lube, the University of Montana and the mill in Seeley Lake. He then owned and operated Grizzly Janitorial. He appreciated his clients and friends at First Montana Bank, Missoula Pediatric Dentistry, Dr Troy Shaw, Paradise Falls, Dr Kreigs and HuHot.
He loved camping, horseback riding, music and concerts. He loved living in Montana and the Missoula Symphony, Chris was a hard working and kind man. He has a wonderful sense of humor, even through the struggles of his disease.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy McPherson, of Missoula, his son Colby McPherson of Missoula and dear friend Darlene Harris of Victor and his faithful dog "Precious"
A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Western Montana Veterans Cemetery. A reception will follow at the First Christian Church. We would like to thank Partners Hospice and Dr's Nevin and Jennifer. Sunset Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Partners Hospice of Missoula.
