Dear Matt and Stephanie, just reading the paper today online and saw this sad news. Your mother was one of the kindest, most loving people that I have known. I know that she loved you and devoted herself to raising you. I am comforted by the fact that you both have been gifted with all of her wonderful traits and that her memory will live on in both of you. Know that you are in my prayers.

I still could not believe that Cindy left us. I consider myself very luck and honored to be trained by Cindy right before her retirement. She was most pleasant to work with and truly cared about her job and the people she worked with. She is truly a wonderful person and she will be deeply missed!

Cindy was a friend and great coworker. I had the privileged of being trained by her. She had a great sense of humor and large span of knowledge and experience when it came to work. She loved her family.

I worked with Cindy for a number of years and I could always count on her to help with any kind of problem; not only lab, but life related. She gave me lots of sound advice and you could always count on her to be the voice of reason. She also had a great artistic eye and would give her honest opinion and sometimes suggestions about my various creative endeavors. Her whole face lit up whenever she talked about her children, who were obviously the light of her life. She will be greatly missed.

I was very fortunate to have received training by Cindy. She was a great friend and co-worker. She was knowledgeable and very helpful. She went out of her way to tell me that if I needed help that she was there to ask. We'll miss you Cindy!

My heart aches today, Cindy was fun to work with and was one of my few go-to people. Any question I had, she knew the answer. If I was having a stressful day, I could vent to her and we would shake our heads together. I'll miss you, my friend.

I am so blessed to have had the privilege of having Cindy as parent and volunteer pianist in my kindergarten classroom. She even supported all of our fun and silly programs. Cindy was such a dedicated and sweet friend for a number of years-ever since dear Matthew was a kindergartener. She loved you more than you can imagine and was so proud of you both, Stephanie and Matt. Please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers for Cindy and your entire family. I'm so sad to be unable to attend her services. Stephanie and Matt, I would love to hear from you anytime. Your mom will always hold a special place in my heart.

I feel fortunate to have spent time working with Cindy. She was willing to share her work knowledge and loved to talk about her kids. She was always interested in my family and was willing to share advice about raising kids. I pray that her family will be able to feel peace at this difficult time.

I worked with Cindy for a number of years. I first met her as a medical laboratory science student at LDS hospital in the Summer of 2006 , learning hematology, special chemistry and protein electrophoresis. In 2008 we became co-workers at the central lab. She was a great mentor and friend over the years and gave great advice which helped guide me through to my current profession. We had many conversations about life but above all we talked about her two children which she adored and of which she was very proud. She will be missed. Condolences to her children and other family and friends.

Cindy was an amazing person. In our short time working together she taught me more about life and about being a professional than I could ever learn about myself. She inspired all to be better and she will be dearly missed.
