Craig Buckner Obituary
The Buck Stops Here!
Lehi, Utah—Craig M. Buckner passed away peacefully on Oct. 6, 2021 at the age of 72. He will be missed by family, friends, and neighbors. Craig lived an active life, and had a love for animals, nature, and history. He grew up in Alpine, graduated from American Fork High School, and lived in Lehi for most of his life. Craig is survived by his daughters Kristie Reimann (Rich) and Casie Buckner-Munteanu (Dragos) and son Tony (Kaitie) Buckner, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; as well as by his sister Jody Benson (Brad), and brothers Brett (Sheryl) Buckner and Corey (Liesel) Buckner.
Funeral services will be held at Anderson & Sons Lone Peak Chapel in Highland, UT on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at 1:00pm. A viewing for family and friends will be held at 11:45 before the service.

Craig was my best friend in Jr High and High School here in AF. I lost touch with him when I left town the day after high school graduation over the years but always had great memories of Craig. Rest In Peace My Friend. You will be remembered and you will be missed.

I was so saddened to hear of the untimely loss of your dear brother, dad, uncle, and grandpa!

A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on.

I am so sad that Craig has passed away. I want to encourage each family member to hold to the happy memories you have each had the opportunity to create with Craig. I know that when our loved ones pass on, many are allowed to visit and comfort and help us along often. Though we may not get to see them with our eyes, our spirits connect with them, and our minds can see their loving touch in our lives. Much like when our Savior comes to comfort us in the hardest times of our lives, our loved ones, too...are there for us. With this, try to remember that there are more for each of us than against us in this telestial realm. Blessings to each of you. Hang in there Corey, I am so sorry for your loss, I know how much love and closeness you have with your family.

Craig had many nicknames, like Buck, Chainsaw or 20 vision but of all the names I like best was Brother. Take care of yourself bro.

I enjoyed having Craig as my neighbor and friend for many years. His last act of kindness to me and my husband was insisting he share his Marionberry Pie with us just before his death. I'll miss the many visits we shared on his front porch but am thrilled he can see again and is with his sweet Patsy.

Craig was a great cousin (he was the oldest Buckner cousin). I always liked him. He always had funny things to say. I will miss him. Sorry for your loss.
