Dale, how can 2 people become so close, but so far away, share so much in life but not, have so much in common but so little, laugh together at lifes events but turn from that laughter, have, share, and grow in respect for one another over the years, careers, and tears, bounce into each other at just the right times and places, be so connected but so disconnected. There was a time and place we both were headed for the same guardrail but manged to steer clear. We ALWAYS shared and returned the same look into each others eyes, year after year after year, knowing that what was in those looks would some day become words, friendship can go deeper than words, looks, respect, admiration, and patience, Ours did. Dale, my Friend, may you find Peace, Comfort, and Light in Your new surroundings, say high to Kevin and Roger, my other friends, and may GOD Bless, Watch Over, Protect, and Provide for those You leave behind....Lets do lunch ?.....Tom

Hi, Darrell and Dan and family,

Dale was one of my best friends when we were growing up in Greenfield Village. He was so very bright and funny and I can still see him in school laughing about the funniest things we could think of. It was a good time to have Dale as a friend. When we were 9 or 10, a big night out was helping ourselves to candy bars at the local store, then running all the way home and into his back yard where we had set up a tent and sleeping bags and we would eat all of them at once. We got together in the 80's a couple of times and nothing had changed for either of us, we were still eating all the candy bars we could get. And laughing until we were out of breath.

As with so many friends and family, I only wish I would have thought to find Dale before this and laugh with him one more time.
