West Jordan, UT-Dale Guy Williams was born in Salt Lake City, UT on April 3rd, 1962 as the second child of Ben A Williams and Dorothy J. (Tipton) Williams.
Dale was always the kid hamming it up for the camera and having fun with friends. Fiercely independent, he had his first job when he was 14, and bought his first truck when he was 15, fully customizing it before he could legally drive! Dale's lifelong passions were customizing his trucks, fishing, and hunting. He loved spending time with his "Hook Willy" friends out on the lake, or pulling a 100lb halibut out of Alaskan waters!
After retiring as a Firestone regional manager, he went on to become a licensed journeyman and has loved working with his friends at Western Sheet Metal and R M Chris Sheet Metal ever since.
His dream was to retire to Mackay, Idaho, and spend every day fishing and tinkering in his ideal man-cave. He was just waiting to find the right property. We hope there are man-caves in Heaven!
Dale passed away from a medical event in West Jordan City, UT on November 19th, 2025, at the age of 63. He is survived by his daughter Tasha Frome (Joe), father Ben A Williams, stepmother Dixie L. Williams, brother Bruce Williams (Michelle), sister Becky Ivory (Ken), and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Williams, mother Dorothy J. Williams, and niece Leah Ivory.
A viewing will be held from 10:00-10:45 am, Saturday, November 29th at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, UT 84095, followed by a funeral at 11:00 am. Friends and family are welcome.
