David Andrews Obituary

David Andrews "Gaggy" David Andrews, 60, passed away August 14, 2005 in Sandy, Utah. He was born March 29, 1945 in Torrington, Connecticut to Andrew Pavlicovic and Onelia Bastasini. He graduated from Torrington High School and the University of Southern California. David married Kathy Hicks in La Ca¤ada, CA June 24, 1967. He was a proud grandfather of three beautiful girls he adored and was anxiously awaiting the birth of a grandson. A visionary man gifted with the ability to connect with so many people and help their lives. David is well-known as one with the ability to save struggling companies with financial acumen. He served with distinction as the Chief Financial Officer for many multi-national corporations worth millions of dollars. However, he exceeded all past business accomplishments when he founded Zija International, a company dedicated to helping people around the world through developing health products from the Moringa Oleifera plant in conjunction with multiple humanitarian efforts. His foresight and vision brought economic prosperity to many by establishing this company that helps combat nutritional deficiencies everywhere and generously pays its representatives to share their product. His passion to help others includes his employees, their families and thousands of independent representatives. David's life and actions have positively touched so many people. Zija International mourns for the loss of a great man and leader. It is Zija's firm commitment to continue his visionary mission of giving and sharing with others. Survived by wife, Kathy; daughter, Lisa and husband Kirk of La Ca¤ada, CA, and granddaughters, Katherine and Olivia, and grandson due in December; son, Michael and wife Kelly of Draper, UT, and granddaughter, Sofia; brother, Jim and partner Ed of New York City, NY. "We love you David, Dad, and 'Gaggy'-you will be in our hearts forever." Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 11800 South 300 East, Draper.
