1947 ~ 2016
David passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 11, 2016. He was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on March 30, 1947 to Pedro and Albina Moya Trujillo.
David served honorably as a U.S. Marine in the Vietnam War. He liked to cook and he spent most of his life employed as a chef. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family listening to and playing music. We loved listening to him play his guitar and we will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by both parents. Survived by sons David Jr., Jarrod, Isaac; daughter La Raina; brothers Pete Jr. (Lydia), and Joseph (Dolores); sisters Viola Benavidez, and Rose Cervantes; as well as many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral service will be held to celebrate and honor David on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at The Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 Camp Williams Rd. Bluffdale, Utah. Interment to follow.

David and family,
I would like to extend my condolences to you and the Trujillo family. He would always call me prima even tho we were not related. He said all Trujillos are related somehow.
David was a good man. I enjoyed talking to him and loved his pleasant disposition. May God help you and comfort you at this time and always.

Our condolesence to all the family. Praying for peace and comfort for his siblings, nieces, nephews and children. We knew David in the 60's and 70's David was a good friend and very much loved by his church family. In his younger years he was an awesome example to whom ever he came in contact with. God have mercy on his soul.

I was so sorry to hear of David's passing. We attended the same Church many years ago. Our families have always been friends. My condolences to Viola and Joe, his children and all who loved him.
