DeLynn Thurston Hansen

DeLynn Thurston Hansen 9/06/17 ~ 2/24/03  CENTRAL VALLEY, UTAH-DeLynn Daniels Thurston Hansen, 85, of Central Valley, Utah, passed away February 24, 2003, in Richfield, Utah.  She was born September 6, 1917, in Annabella, Utah, to William Spafford and Lillian Pearl Gauchat Daniels. She married H. Clynn Thurston, June 19, 1935, in the Manti LDS Temple. Three children were born to them: Karen, Sherry, and Dan. Clynn preceded her in death, April 24, 1959. She married H. Conrad Hansen, February 9, 1960. He had one daughter, Lynne and they had one son together, Dix Conrad. Mom was a loving kind wife, mother and friend. Known for her cheerful attitude and beautiful smile. Kept a lovely home in which all who entered felt her love and warmth. She never spoke an unkind word to or about anyone. DeLynn was an active member of the LDS Church and had a strong testimony of the gospel. She held many leadership and teaching positions within the church and enjoyed temple work. She is survived by her children, Karen (Roger) Swindle, Monroe; Sherry (Phil) Thygerson, Salt Lake City; step-daughter, Lynne Hansen, Hawaii; brothers, Joe (Merlene) Daniels, Robert S. (Jeannine) Daniels, Roy Dean (Georgia) Daniels, brohters-in-law, Reed Rasmussen, Virge Brown, 11 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; husbands, H. Clynn Thurston and Hans Conrad Hansen; sons, Dix C. Hansen, Dan W. Thurston; Brothers, Wm Bliss (Lavern) Daniels; Maurice "Tom" (Fauntell) Daniels; sisters, Joan Rasmussen, Lillian Brown, Madeline (Kent) Carr, Verla (Leo) Breinholt  Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 27, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. in the Central LDS Ward Chapel in Annabella. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Ward Chapel in Annabella on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery.
