Dorene Smith Obituary
Dorene Smith, age 84 passed away on April 16, 2016 as a result of natural causes. Dorene was born on September 11, 1931 in Farmington, Utah to Henry and Dora Hadley Smith. She was a longtime resident of Farmington and worked for many years at Lagoon as a grounds supervisor.
Dorene was fiercely independent and was respected by all of her family and friends. She will be missed and remembered by her family and friends.
Graveside services for Dorene will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Farmington City Cemetery, 500 South 200 East, Farmington, UT. A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 North, Main Street in Farmington, Utah. Please leave online condolences for the family at www.russonmortuary.com.

Dorene had an incredible influence on me and my life. I look back with fondness to the time I worked with her at Lagoon. She never asked me to do anything she wasn't willing to do herself. Thank you. You will be missed.

Such a great lady! I remember the guidance she gave us when working with her in 1977-78 at Lagoon. She became our life long friend. We all love you Dorene!!

Joyce and family, So sorry to hear of Dorene's passing. It's hard to loose a sister but it helps to remember all the things you learned from her and the good times you shared.

I didn't really know her my dad did he work on the ground crew when she was in charge I was glad to get a chance to meet her she was such a sweet lady I'll miss her
