Dear Ramona and family. I was sad to hear of the passing of Earl. I have a lot of great memories of the Stevens family in Kearns. May God bless all of you with comfort at this time of sorrow. I regret not being able to attend his funeral. I was in Atlanta for my work, but my thoughts and prayers were with you.
Love

Grandpa "Great" sure was great. We're glad he's in a better place now but will surely miss him.

Jean and I have very fond remembrances of Bishop Stevens as a church leader, as a man and as a friend. Our associations with your family brings back many fond emories of our youth. Earl's passing is at the same time sad yet joyous. He has earned a "better place" and will be with those who have left before. At the same time, his example and influence will be with us and certainly with his family members as they continue their sojourn here on this earth. Our deepest sympathies and best wishes go out to Ramona and the family at this time.

Ramona and family. I wish to say how sorry I am to hear of Earl's passing. I look back and remember all the good times that I spent at the house in Kearns. I wish so much that I could attend the services for Earl and be able to visit with you and the family. However because of work and commitments that I have for that day I will not be able to make it. I do want you to know how sorry I am and that my thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family. May the Lord bless you and comfort you at this time.
