Elaine Manning Obituary
Elaine, our beloved wife,mother,and grandmother was tragically taken from us. Elaine was the most beautiful and caring woman that ever lived. She loved everything and everyone she met.She had the most angelic voice ever heard. Elaine adored her husband Paul Manning. She was the glue that held our family together. She loved her family which included her children Greg VanDeMerwe (son),Tiffany and Jason VanDeMerwe (son and daughter in law}, Carrie and Ryan Perez (Daughter and son in law) grandchildren Tasha, Brittany,Tyler, Skyler, Maycie, and Breanna Great Grandchildren Conner, Brayden, and Javier parents Pauline and Warren Bowen siblings Cindy Bass,Randy,and Ronnie Bowen.
Greg VanDeMerwe our beloved Son, Dad, Brother, and Grandfather was also tragically taken from us. Greg Mastered everything he did. His passion to learn new things was inspiring to all who he knew. Greg had 2 daughters he loved with everything in his being Tasha Wey and Brittany VanDeMerwe. He also adored his three grandsons Conner, Brayden, And Javier.
Our family will never be the same. We would like to give a thank you to Ron VanDeMerwe for his support, Melanie Merier owner of canyon Transportation and the employees of canyon Transportation. The employees of Henry Schein Dental and the caring people of Highlander club and all others who sent love and prayers through this tragic time.Thank you all God Bless.
A Celebration of life for Elaine and Greg will be on 02/15/17 at 3pm at the American Heritage Mobile Home Park Club House. 3040 south Homecrest St SLC 84119

Paul, Ron,Jason,Carrie & family, I'm very sorry to here of Greg and Elaine's passing, I had not seen them in many years, but have very fond memories of them from my childhood, I ran into Elaine several years ago at Smiths and remember thinking she still looked the same as she did 20 plus years ago. I remember stopping over at the Vandemerwe's when I was young and seeing Greg ripping out a motor of a car at maybe 15 years old to rebuild it and wondered how he knew how to do that. He was definitely gifted with the knowledge of cars.

Paul and family, this has to be the most difficult time of your lives. Elaine and Greg were two of the most gracious and wonderful people we have ever known. They will be missed by so many. I just read her obit and you nailed it 100%. I am so sorry and wished I would have stayed more in touch in the last few years. She will always be in my heart. I have so many memories with Elaine throughout the years. I am glad she was a big part of my life. Funny Paul has always been there to I have know Paul for about as long as I knew Elaine.
