ERIC LAMBERT Obituary

Eric M. Lambert 1989 ~ 2010 Eric Matthew Lambert, 20, passed away April 12, 2010 in the Primary Children's Hospital. He was born on August 17, 1989 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mark M. and Kathryn Anne (Knight) Lambert. Eric attended Hartvigsen School in Salt Lake City. Thank you to the staff for their years of care. He is survived by his parents Mark and Kathryn, of West Jordan; brothers, Richard (Stephanie) Lambert, of Woods Cross; and Sean Lambert of Logan; grandparents, Jack and Bonnie Lassche, of Kamas, Utah and Edna Knight of St. George, UT. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, LaMar Knight. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Kamas LDS ward chapel where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Friends may also call Wednesday evening from 6 to 7:30 at Crandall Funeral Home in Kamas. Interment will be in the Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas, Utah.

It is thought that our children are to never die before us, to be present when we pass into "the next life" yet having been Eric's teacher for years and knowing his family it is understood that he wanted to be there to welcome his family - to let them know him again and to make ready the way. Eric was always a loving young man and busy and inquisitive. I learned ever so much from him and I empathize with the families' loss. Just know that he is even more perfect. I meet Eric during summer camp last summer and I would like to say that I had a blast getting to know him. I loved how he would always try to find something to hit with his hands to make some type of rhythm, he was a great joy to have at camp. I will miss him this summer, he will always hold a special place in heart.

I got to meet Eric during this last summer, at summer camp. i always loved seeing him, he put a smile on my face every day, the part I loved most about him is when he could find anythihg to play the drums with. I will miss him this next summer, we loved him!
