1927 ~ 2017
Hayden, UT-Fern Frances Bowen Oberhansly, 89, passed away February 2, 2017, at her home.
Born April 17, 1927, in Vernal, to John Parry and Frances Horrocks Bowen. Married Mark Loy Oberhansly on October 8, 1945, in Salt Lake City. Later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 11, 1996.
Survived by children, Sally (Terry) Bastian, Salem; Susan Famulary, Provo; Mark "Bo" (Edelweiss) Oberhansly, Hayden; John Oberhansly, Roosevelt; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Mark; a daughter, Bonnie; brother & sisters, Keith Bowen, Gwendolyn Butterfield, and Fawn Coltharp.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Neola LDS Chapel. There will be a viewing on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, 457 East 300 North, Roosevelt, and from 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
