Floyd Nordberg Naylor passed away peacefully in his home on December 5, 2025 at age 98. Floyd was born on Valentine's Day, 1927 in Salt LakeCity, Utah to George Franklin Naylor and

Florence Rosalie Nordberg. He married Dorothy Ruth Miller on October 31, 1948. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy, a daughter, Patricia, as well as four brothers, George, Wally, Marlow and Brent. He is survived by sons, Stephen Floyd (Sherilyn), Gary (Debbie) and a daughter Tammy Taylor as well as 9 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Floyd was a proud member of the Navy, serving in WWII and in the Korean War. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving as a beloved scout leader. He received the Silver Beaver Award for 30 years of scouting service, but continued to serve the Webloes, Cub Scouts and young men in other projects even into his 90's. Floyd was a cabinet maker, owning Aline Cabinets in Salt Lake City where he worked until he was 83. He enjoyed square dancing and traveling the world with his beloved, Dot.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff of Bristol Hospice for their kind and efficient care.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Drive (10600 South).
