Francisco Saucedo Obituary

Francisco "Frank" Saucedo 1964 ~ 2008 SOUTH SALT LAKE CITY- Francisco "Frank" Saucedo, 43, died Jan. 16, 2008 at Intermountain Medical Center, Murray, UT due to a road rage incident. Frank was shot in the back of the head on January 15, 2008. Frank was born to Francisco Saucedo and Josephine Martinez on June 26, 1964 in Ogden, UT, the youngest of five children. Frank married Jamie in 2002 and from this union they had a son, Francisco Cruz, born on December 10, 2002. We are heartbroken from the loss of our father, brother, and dear friend. Frank had a hard life after losing our mother, at the young age of 15. He has tried to lead a good life, but has had stumbling blocks along the way. Frank was a good person and was always trying to help friends in need. He was helping a friend get a ride to the grocery store when he became a victim of a senseless road rage incident. This unspeakable action left a five year old boy without a father. Frank is survived by his wife, Jamie; son, Francisco Cruz; siblings, Mike Martinez, Ramona Saucedo, Jesse Saucedo (Frank's twin) and Lenore Bermejo; nieces: Shauntie, Natalie, and Heidi; nephews: Chad, Steve, Luis and Mario; Aunt Rae and a special friend Lacy. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. We would like to thank the medical staff at Intermountain Medical Center, Midvale Police Dept., and all friends who have cared and shown us so much support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at any America First Credit Union in the name of Francisco Saucedo. Funeral services will be held Tues. January 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 2740 Pennsylvania Ave., Ogden. Friends may call on Mon. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington, Blvd., Ogden, from 6-8 p.m. with the Rosary at 7 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. I'm very sorry for this senseless act of violence. A young child should never have to grow up without their father and a wife without her husband. We just want the family to know that our love and prayers are with you at this difficult time even though we don't know you. Find peace in God.
