A Life Well Lived,
1949 ~ 2025
Ivins, Utah-Frederic Charles Joy, 75, passed away on August 18, 2025. Born in 1949 to Charles and Clare Joy, he grew up in Death Valley and Jackson Hole, later becoming a renowned landscape photographer with a gallery in Jackson for nearly 30 years.
He is survived by his wife Sue, children Heather, Kristen, and Charlie, and six grandchildren.
An informal gathering will be held in St. George on Sept. 13, with a memorial in Jackson, WY at a later date.

Fred and Ellen use to scare me to death by convincing Rich and I that there were Goblins outside out windows at night. They would also tell the "Windago" story to top it off.
Of coarse; Chick & Clare were our grown up Hero's and Fred was part of that wonderful team. I loved them all and also Fred's photography....
