Beloved mother, grandmother sister and friend, Gail Jean Hutchison, age 92, passed away on July 10, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Gail was born January 4, 1929 to Elbert Gale Hamblin and Phyllis Elsie Jensen in Kanab, Utah. They later moved to Manti where she graduated from High School in 1947 with many life long friends. Gail married Donald J. Frischknecht in 1949; they had five children. She later married Leon W. Hutchison in 1972.

Gail was a nurse at Olympus Clinic and dearly loved by her many patients for over 30 years. She had a light within and a gift for loving people and making them feel special. Her joy came from serving family and friends. Her swim parties, famous Rice Krispie treats and thousands of birthday cakes are precious memories for all her family, friends and co-workers. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her testimony was shown in her daily actions to those around her.

She is survived by son Wade (Linda) Frischknecht, daughter Phyllis (Norv) Dallin, stepson Terry Hutchison, daughters-in-law Sandy, Vickie, and Tania Frischknecht, brother McRae Hamblin, as well as 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, sons Jay, Greg, and Mac, brother Kent and sister-in-law Rene'.

The family wishes to thank Sunrise of Holladay for all the loving care they gave our mother the past 2 ½ years and Solstice Home Health.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Dr.
