Pinion Ridge, near Duchesne, UT-Gary Elliott Watrous, 80, passed away November 24, 2015, at his home.
Born July 7, 1935, in Salt Lake City, to Wayne Elliott and Freda Agnes
Robison Watrous.
Gary worked most of his life as a roofer and enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed living in the rolling cedar hill country. He was talented in music and played the piano very well. He loved classical music.
Survived by his children, Terry Watrous, Broomfield, CO; Bradley Wayne
Watrous Arnovick, Riverdale; Nicole Morgan, Salt Lake City; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and a sister Gayle Sandberg, of Perry, UT.
Preceded in death by his parents, and a grandson, Travis.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the North Morgan Cemetery in Morgan, Utah under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary, Roosevelt. Condolences may be shared at www.hullingermortuary.com

He was not only my father's best friend Pete Peterson or Glen Peterson as many may have none he was also my father's roommate when I was a kid and taught me math when I couldn't stand it he was always there to help me with my homework while my dad would be truck driving they move to Pinon Ridge my father lived right below I always called him Uncle Gary because he was very special to me my father and him used to run around a lot at Manny's Tavern and cause a lot of fun there's other words for it but to them to it was fun it was really awesome my dad raised for many years and Gary used to live with us in West Valley until they bought their own trailers out in Pinon Ridge such a beautiful place I Miss it's so very much and give my love it his family it's been so many years since my father passed away in 2000 to realize I wish I really would have known more and I would have been there at Gary's funeral cuz my father would have wanted me to be him and my father were very special to me it was like having two fathers LOL my prayers to all of their friends and of course them I love my father and Gary so very much and miss the days of being out there fishing and riding motorcycles
