Grace Olivia Carson Shepherd 1925 ~ 2003  ALPINE – Grace Olivia Carson Shepherd, 77, died August 14, 2003 at her home. Born Oct 14, 1925 in Pleasant Grove, UT to Charles Henry and Leaone Foutz Carson. Married Duane Albert Shepherd June 4, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  She was a member of the LDS Church and her love of the Savior was foremost in her life; with a strong testimony, she taught and lived as an example to all. Her family and friends were a precious gift in her life. Survived by children Kent (Peggy) Shepherd of Alpine; Ray (Lillian) Shepherd and Diane (Lynn) Hunter both of American Fork; Ilene (Ken) Vance of Sandy; and Clyde (Jana) Shepherd of Cedar Hills; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Erma Frandsen of American Fork and brother Harvey Carson of Draper. Preceded in death by husband; one son Dale; grandson Randall; one sister Lola Taylor and two brothers Charles and Dan Carson. Funeral services will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. at the Alpine Stake Center, 98 E. Canyon Crest Rd., where friends may call Tues. evening from 6-8 p.m. and Wed. one hour prior at the church.
