Dear Gleed and Mrs. Toombes,
My memories of Guy are full of admiration and amazement. We all know what a gifted athlete Guy has been. Some might remember his drive as he could be a fierce competitor. Guy didn't like to loose but he was always gracious in both his wins and losses. I have many good memories of adventures I was able to be part of with Guy. If it was not the High School tennis matches it was an outdoor match with mountains and the elements.
I felt safe and strong when I was with Guy.
It dawned on me, after I recalled many trips and lots of fun we had, that I never remember any boasting or bravado from Guy. He just enjoyed a good challenge and few are his equal. May he rest in peace and know he is missed by many.

RIP Guy, we shared so many early outdoor adventures together. He was friends with my brother Mitch and they first introduced me to rock climbing. We worked together at Timberline Sports, traveled to Steamboat Springs to learn XC ski instruction, then 3 pinned the Wasatch. Escalante canyons, the Paria, my first visits. We drove his old classic Volvo to Yosemite (I-80 hadn´t been completed!) and climbed our first major wall, Washington Column. We both got involved with JHMG as guides/owners. Later he worked for Hercules, as my father had. Deep sympathies for his loss, He was a great Guy

Although we haven´t seen Guy for many years, the memory of him as a young and vibrant man, handsome and healthy, and enthusiastic about life, especially outdoors, is what will always remain in our hearts. With deepest sympathy, Annie and DG George

Dear Yvette - What a love story, and a life well lived! I remember you from Hercules, I think Guy's greatest accomplishment was marrying you. It sounds like true love, letting go of someone you love is a testament of his love for you. I think you both know where heaven is found. The Mountain Cathedrals of Earth are as close to where Heaven is found in this earthly existence. Imagine the Mountains and Valley's of Heaven, and you will know where Guy is now. You were always so kind, and I wish you well. You are in my thoughts, may God comfort you and Guy's family in your hour of loss. Kevin
