Harlan Nelson Obituary

Harlan Walker Nelson He will be Missed Our loving and loyal husband, father and grandfather, Harlan Walker Nelson, went home to be with his Savior and Lord Jesus on Sunday October 9, 2005 of natural causes. He is survived by his wife Barbara Jane Nelson, his son James Reid Nelson, his daughter Deborah Sue Hart, and his five grandchildren, Evan Scott, Tyler Campbell and Griffin Walker Nelson and Johanna Elise and Caleb Phillip Hart. Harlan and Barbara lived in California until 1991 when they moved to Alpine, Ut. In 2001 they moved to Heber, Ut. Since 1991 they have been members of Christ Evangelical Church in Orem. Both of their children and their families also reside in Utah. Harlan and Barbara both graduated from University of Pacific in Stockton, California. They were married for 53 years. Harlan served the United States of America as a Flight Officer, Bombardier in World War II and was honorably discharged. He was deeply loved by all who knew him. He is dearly missed but we have peaceful hearts knowing he is with his Lord Jesus forever. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christ Evangelical Church, 300 South 400 East, Orem, Utah. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Ontario, California. Condolences may be left at www.BergMortuary.com.

We wanted to express our condolences regarding the homegoing of Harlan. We have fond memories of his (and your) presence at the church in Orem. It's our prayer that the fellowship of our Lord's Spirit will be specially present to you at this time.
