Condolences to all the children of Harold and Maxine West. I loved both of these wonderful people. They were both my most favorite uncle and aunt. They both were full of love and lots of caring. My family would have loved to have found out a month ago that Uncle Harold had passed away. By a fluke we found out. I hope the funeral went well and the family is all doing well.
I know that it is now time for Aunt Maxine to be layed to rest and I hope we find out soon when her funeral will be.
Know of my love for you all and your families. I miss seeing everyone.
Love from one of Uncle Vern's daughters,
Jennie

Dear Roger and Family: What love and appreciation we feel for your parents and for the compassion with which you have cared for them. It has been an honor to visit you all, and be your neighbor. My family, Steve, and I will surely miss your sweet father and his radiant smile and countenance. Our prayers go out to you and your dear mother.
Sincerely,
Jan and Steve Booth and Family

DEAREST SUSAN,
SO SORRY TO HEAR THE PASSING OF YOUR FATHER. BUT SEEING YOUR NAME BROUGHT A SMILE TO MY FACE. HOPE ALL IS WELL, I REALLY DO THINK OF YOU FROM TIME TO TIME AND ALL THE FUN WE HAD IN KAPPA DELTA. KLAUS' MOTHER JUST PASSED AWAY ALSO AND WE KNOW IT'S HARD TO HAVE THEM LEAVE. BUT WHAT A JOY TO HAVE THE PLAN OF SALVATION AS OUR GOAL.
LOVE TO YOU AND YOURS,
MARIAN MUDROW

Harold and Maxine were the ward greeters when Maurine and I moved in to the 7th Ward some 34 years ago. They were among the first people we met. I loved Harold's sense of humor and he loved to tell lawyer jokes at my expense but always in good fun. I was privileged to be his and Maxine's home teacher for several years as well and grew to appreciate their kindness and goodness. Harold will remain an example to me of a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He set a standard that will forever be my goal.

Sister Woodruff and I have the warmest respect and love for Harrold. He was a loving, effective Bishop, a wonderful partner in our Los Angeles County land partnership and a truly loving, caring neighbor and friend. Our love and condolences from our Mission in Ohio
