Herbert Paschal Obituary
1918 - 2014
Herbert M. Paschal, 95, passed away Wednesday, April 9th, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was born July 13th, 1918 in Bedford County, Tennessee to Leon Vertrees Paschal and Annie Elizabeth Wortham and was proud of his humble, southern heritage. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Herb worked in the automobile industry and was a successful businessman.
He married Neva McNeil December 1, 1944. Herb's greatest love was his family. He was extremely proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and expressed his pride by sharing their achievements with friends and strangers alike. We was an avid U of U football fan and loved going to games with his grandson. He had a great love for golf and played nearly up until his passing. When he wasn't playing, he simply enjoyed watching the game.
Herb is survived by his wife; daughters, Sue (Rod) Johnsen, and Patricia (Craig) McCullough; sister, Hazel Pacshal; 15 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clarence. He will be greatly missed and his memory will be cherished always.
A private service was held for the family.

I bought my first car from Herb. My mother, Verda Bergstrom, worked with Neva for 20 years at Univac and they were great friends. Remember the girls too from the 1960s. Herb was nice to me the few times I saw him. My best to Neva.
