Hunter Keel Obituary

Hunter Greyson Keel 2007 ~ 2008 Our Miracle, Hunter Greyson Keel has decided to return to his home in heaven. He was born in heaven on January 11, 2008. Hunter was born on Earth April 14th, 2007 and weighed only 2lbs 14 ounces. Our precious boy came into this world with a shock of red hair and big beautiful hazel eyes. He was also born with Holoprosencephaly and other challenges that he valiantly struggled through. Our little guy had a sweet personality with a serious disposition, he had wise eyes and didn't get impressed all that easily. His fiesty temper amused and astounded us as he fought the statistics and gave us almost 9 beautiful months with him. He could throw temper tantrums while sleeping (his mom called this cheating) but as long as he got his way he was a very easy going baby. Of all things he loved being cuddled and held the most and we are so thankful to have had so much time to do so. We all love Hunter so much and will miss him greatly. We want to thank you for all the support that our family, friends and the community have given us throughout Hunter's short, meaningful life. Visitation and services will be held on Monday, Jan 14th, 2008 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tate Mortuary; 110 South Main Street, Tooele, UT 84074. Hunter is survived by: his mom and dad: Amber Keel (Brannan) and Dennis Keel. His grandparents: Pamela and Aziz Jacob, Raymond Brannan, Linda Byrd and Larry Keel. His great grandparents: Colleen and Kenneth Holcomb and Bonnie Smith. All his Aunts and Uncles including: Ryan And Danielle Pitt, Niall and Brycie Pyper, Charity Russon and Brandy Brito. He is also survived by all the people who loved, cared and prayed for him during his times of trial.

I was told about your little baby by a friend at work. I have two angels babies. My first little girl was born with holoprosencephaly too, and she lived an amazing five weeks, which was five weeks longer then we were told that she would live.Looking at pictures of your precious Hunter reminds me so much of our Lilly! Our second baby lived 7 weeks and he passed away at Primary's from a heart condition. My thoughts and prayers are with you. What an amazing set of parents you must be to have such an amazing little boy. I would love to talk, if you ever felt like talking!

God certainly put that adorable baby in the right arms. Although it was for such a short time, Hunter was very lucky to have you for his parents.
Your story and your strength have touched so many around you. Thank you for sharing his life with us. May you find comfort in God as you go through these difficult times and may you know that Hunter felt comfort with you during his difficult times.

I never met Hunter, or his parents, but I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. I saw his picture in a Quilted Bear shopping bag I had, and found myself checking his website weekly and praying for a miracle for your family. I, too, have a little one. My first. Who is 7 months old. I now snuggle her tighter and kiss her more often as I think of your miracle, Hunter. Thank you for sharing his story with us. He has touched more lives then you have known.
