James Dillard Obituary

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, James Edward Dillard, passed away on July 4, 2002. He was born on July 5, 1949 to Jim and Orpah Dillard in Seattle, Washington, and he attended school in West Seattle. Jim married Jackie in Seattle, Wash., on November 27, 1971. They had two sons, Jim Donavan and Jason Everett, born and raised in the Seattle area. He worked for 30 years in the trucking industry and was employed by Volvo Trucks North America for the last ten years in Salt Lake City.  Jim enjoyed many hobbies; fishing, golfing, wine making, traveling, however, his mission in life was to make others laugh and be happy. Jim will be greatly missed by his wife, two sons, two grandchildren, Cody and Makenzie, daughter-in-law Sarah, mother, sister Karen, sister-in-law Sharon, and brother-in-law Duane. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2002, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. A reception will be held at the Dillard's residence following the service.
