JoAnn Henderson Obituary

1948 ~ 2018
Born September 23, 1948. First daughter of wonderful parents, Arthur M & Bonna B Jolley.
Jod E married the love of her life Thomas Henderson on January 4, 1969, a marriage...
"Made In Heaven"
She was the loving mother of Kamille and Clark, the Absolute Pride of her life.
Jod E cherished her time with family and friends. She had a generous spirit, a kind heart and always left a room with everyone feeling happier than when they got there.
Love Was Her Answer, no question!
On September 30, 1988, Jod E began her Dedicated Journey in the Alanon Family Group and Alcoholics Anonymous. She was a loving and caring confidant to many (too many to count). Always gave of her time freely and had a way of making whomever she was speaking with feel like they were the most important person in her life.
She faced many, many physical challenges without complaining and persevered to heaven. She lost her fight on March 2, 2018 and sprung her wings. Heaven gained an angel today.
Rest in Peace My Love, Save Me a Seat!
Jod E (Mom) will be forever missed by her two other Musketeers, Tom & her Sister (In-Law) Koni, her daughter Kami (John), Son Clark (Emily), Sister Jeri (Steve ) Brother Richard (Sue), Grand Children, Nieces & Nephews, and Great-Grand Children.
A private service will be held at a later date.

Tom,
I was saddened when I read of Jody's passing. Although our paths have not crossed for many years, I have tried reaching out to find you guys. I loved Jody from the time we first met at the Murray Theatre. We became very close friends, and she was always there through my trials in life and I was there for her through some of hers. I remember when you guys got married, and sharing both of you with me was very special. She loved you so much. Then came Cami and then Clarke, oh how she loved them both.
My regrets are that I haven't see you or your family for so many years. Now she is gone, and I can't be there for her. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
May God be with you as your go through this mourning process, and love to all of your family.

Aunt JodE, I will always be your dresser drawer baby! I will never forget all the times Clark and I broke something playing in your house. No matter how often we broke things it was always the nicest thing you owned. Love you always.

I knew Jodi many years ago ... we had lots of fun in those days "dragging state" in her red Mustang. As is often the case the years cause us to travel different paths and Jodi and I lost touch. She was a lovely and giving person and my heartfelt condolences go out to her family.
