Salt Lake City, UT-Jody Lynn Keenan Morrill passed away December 17, 2014. Born October 1, 1958 in Oakland, CA to Loren G. Keenan and Margo Lynn Romney. She is the oldest of 8 children. Jody married David Morrill on August 5, 1981 in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of 6 children. Jody received her bachelor's in education at BYU. Throughout her career she taught special education, and 2nd grade in Ogden, UT; Denton, MT; and Sandy, UT. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served diligently in all her callings. She enjoyed walking, reading, knitting, and summers at the family cottage on Lake Huron.
Survived by her husband, David, children, Megan Diaz (Justin); Heidi Ostler (Porter); Jameson (Sara); Brian; Paige Trujillo (Adam); Allie and 5 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be Monday December 22, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the Tithing Hill Building, 1208 West 12400 South. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 5-7 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) and Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. in the Tridell Utah Cemetery on Tuesday December 23, 2014.
