John Clark Obituary

1944 ~ 2014
John lived a good life, serving many people and his Heavenly Father along the way. John was the oldest of six children born to Dan Warren Clark and Evelyn Gertrude Cunningham, who both preceded him in death. He is survived by three siblings, Paul, Valerie, and Larry, and was preceded in death by two siblings, Keith and Lee Ann.
John was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple to his eternal sweetheart, Bonnie Lee Williams, and they together had six children, Terren, Bryan, Kenya, Garrek, Amber, and Micah, who have blessed him with 17 grandchildren.
John was an amazing example during his life of long suffering as in later years he suffered many hardships and trials, but developed patience and love as he continued his courageous fight. He loved many and many return that love and will miss him dearly until all are reunited with him on the other side.
Services will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Draper 7th Ward, 630 East 12300 South, where a visitation will be held 10-10:45 a.m. Interment Utah Veterans Memorial Park. Online condolences: larkincares.com

I am/we are so sorry to have heard that John has passed and express our love and thoughts to you as you begin remembering the good times you had when he was hear. I have some memories of him bringing and filling water jugs there in Alpine of the good ole Alpine water. And before that, hikes up to 2nd hammongog on the North Mountain above Alpine. I do attest that 'each life that touches ours for good, reflects thine own great mercy Lord" . John touched my life and I'll always have good memories of him now and in the future. May you all be blessed with these same good memories as you move forward.

Bonnie and Family,
So sorry to hear of John's passing. I know that he has had his physical trials the past few years and that Heavenly Father has now released him from those. Julie and I live in St George and will not be able to attend the funeral. I remember that when the cousins would get together when we were young, John always had a story to tell, or an adventure to share. He had an indomitable spirit! He was a great influence on my decision to go into law enforcement. May God bless you and your family at this time and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
