Dear Laura, George, and Family,
Mark and I want to share our condolences to all of you and want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of honoring the life of your father and grandfather. In the little time that we have spent with him over the past few years, we do know what a wonderful man he was and felt of his special, sweet spirit. We are sure that he touched many others as he did ours during his sojourn upon this earth. Thinking about what he is now doing without the burdens of this life is a joy and a comfort. May our Father In Heaven lift your hearts and bring you peace when you miss John's presence and may you find joy in the many memories that you have all created together until you meet again.
With much love,
Mark and Janeen Sheffield

Years ago I worked at Wasatch Electric and John was my boss. He was a thoughtful and kind individual and I enjoyed my time there. I have fun memories of him sending out for hot fudge sundaes often on Friday afternoons as a treat for the office girls. He was a good boss. He shared family experiences and let us know how much he loved his family. I pray you who are left behind will have many wonderful memories to comfort you.

Years ago I worked at Wasatch Electric for about five years and John was my boss. He was a gentle thoughtful man and I enjoyed my employment there. I have fun memories of him sending out for hot fudge sundeas on Friday afternoons for a treat. He always talked about his family and showed love and concern for his children and their success.
I hope you who remain have many fine memories of your good father.

Dear Forsbergs,
My uncle John (our mother, Hermana Forsberg Lyon, was his half-sister)had the same loving, gentle spirit I remember in his father (my grandfather, Gustave Forsberg, do for me he was the last direct living link to the Forsberg line. And he added dignity to that name. I remember well the impression he made on me while a navigator in WW II when he came home wearing a uniform, and I also remember his kindness and thoughtfulness to me in my growing-up years in Salt Lake, not to mention when I worked briefly for Wasatch Electric. I feel honored and privileged to be related to him and for all he represented in his life. Sorry we can't attend the funeral, but we are in Phoenix helping a 31-year old daughter (who has a 1-yr.old infant)get through chemo treatments for cancer. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Family: I appreciate all the years we shared with John (and your entire family) at family gatherings, at work, and at personal visits. I love John and all he stood for. I'm certain there is great rejoicing with Norma and all his family gone on before him. Best wishes to all of you children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, you have a great heritage. Love you all, Rob & Meryl Lynn Forsberg
