I remember as a little girl going with my Dad to Webesters. It was such a family friendly store. Jack made it that way. I just lost my Dad 6 months ago, and it is hard to have them leave us, but we do know they are with loved ones, and we will be with them again.
God be with you at this time.

It was a priviledge and honor to meet and spend time with Dad "Jack" during his Hawaii visit. We had so much fun and have many fond memories. We often thought of and spoke of Jack. We will truly miss him and are grateful to have had the opportunity to have met such a wonderful man.
With Much Aloha,

Tried to come to viewing, the line was so long that I was not able to stay. That in its self tells a lot about Bob. I have always respected Bob. He was one of the men like my father Delbert who helped make Riverton a great place.
Bob helped my father plant corn in his garden, when my father was ill.

Dear Bob and members of Jack's family,
I have known Jack for many years, largely through his relationship with my brother, Alan. Alan and he were both JHS '47 graduates and were only about 3 weeks different in age, Jack being that much older. Both served for many years in the Jordan River Temple, as do I, and we would often have a few moments to talk together there. Jack and Alan also shared many years in the Riverton American Legion Post, providing military honors to many throughout the South County. In fact, it was Jack who finally got Alan to link his love of Country and patriotism to membership in the Legion and both greatly enjoyed their fellowship with the other members of the Post.
When Alan passed away in April, Jack came to pay his respects and as we stood for a few minutes reflecting on my brother's passing, Jack could not hold back his tears. These two good men truly had love for each other and now they are once again comerades.
We lived in East Midvale and Webster Coal and Lumber was a well remembered part of our years there.
Wishing you comfort and condolences.

When I was a young mother I had a small wood cutting business. I bought my wood from Webster's. My children loved to come with me because Jack would always give them a penny to buy a gum from the machine. Many years later,it is still a fond memory. He touched so many lives by just being a good guy.

When Jack and Bob first moved to Riverton they were in my ward. I also shopped all the time at their store. The store always had everything that i needed. I wish good luck and best wishes for their family. You had some great parents. Love Elaine
