JOLENE MARTINEZ Obituary

Jolene Marie Martinez "In loving Memory" Our loving mother peacefully entered heaven February 4, 2010 surrounded by the love of her family. Jolene was born to Alejandro and Lupe Ortiz Martinez on July 1, 1960. Jolene had strength through prayer, faith, and family. Her courage and strength will live on through all that knew her. Jolene's greatest joy in life was her family. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Whitney, Misty, and son-in-law Dave. She will always be remembered by her grandchildren Tierra, Cira, Rocco, and our dog, Spot. Her strength and love will continue on in the hearts of her mother, Lupe Martinez, her brothers and sisters: George, Maxine, Mary, Delores, Sally, Lucinda, Pauline, Tressa, Fred, Mike, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Alejandro Martinez; brothers, Alex and Freddie; and sister, Pauline. Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at The Summitt Adventure Church, 6671 South Redwood Road. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.

My deepest sympathy to all the Martinez Family. I didn't know your sister had passed away. I'm so sorry I didn't attend her funeral. May her soul rest in peace.

Sally and Lucy,I'm so sorry to learn of her passing this late.

Love, Connie

Whitney, Misty and family,
We are thinking of you today...

An Angel whispered
take my hand and
come with me
you're work here is done.

I went away to a place
where there's no tears, nor sorrow
only laughter and smiles,
there will always be a Tomorrow.

As I move amongst the clouds.
I'll look down and smile upon you,
while the angels
sing a heavenly song.

I am not alone
all who went before
are here
they awaited my return.

I know you'll grieve
and wish I was still here
I am here in the memories
you hold dear.

Remember how much I
love you
and know I took your
love with me.

I did not wish for
you to cry, nor feel sad.
My pain is gone and
I am Free!

Soon you'll come to me
until then
God will be with you
Just as He's with me.

With love
David, Gayle and Boys.

I'm thankful that I got to know you, and I'm very greatful for the things you taught me. You were patient with me and kind and you taught me that there will always be something more important to worry about then what I am at the moment. I admire your strength and your courage. You faced a tough battle but along the way you held onto hope. You are loved and will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I loved being around Jolene when we worked together at Arc. She was always willing to help me when I needed it. I got to talk to her a few weeks ago and was blessed by her strength and thrilled by her eagerness to go home to Jesus. She is truly in a great place now and I hope she says hello to my son!
