Julia Burns Timothy
2/14/1952 - 6/20/2014
"Life is short, break the rules. Forgive quickly, kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that makes you smile." Mark Twain-My mom asked me to write an obituary for my aunt who passed away Saturday June 20, 2014. I had two ways which I could do this, one with heartache, pain and loss, or another with love, happiness and the smiles she gave me. I chose the second option. As I write this I remember all of the great times we had with her. The family parties, the talks, the phone calls, and the love she shared with everyone with whom she came in contact. It's hard for me to remember a time when she wasn't laughing or smiling. She was so full of love and would do anything for anyone. Although she was taken too soon, she lived a life full of love and laughter. She was a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a friend to many of us. She is now smiling down upon us with our other loved ones we have lost in this life.
She was born February 14, 1952 to Mamie and Robert Burns along side with her identical twin sister Juliette Swain. She had 9 other siblings:  Robert, Bill, Joe, John, Ben, Michael, Jim, Erma, and Mary. She was married twice, first to Richard Dunlop, and later to Gail Timothy who showed her love and support throughout her life. She has many nieces and nephews who she loved with all of her heart.
Remember the great times we got to spend with her. Remember the smiles and laughs we got to share. Be thankful for the time we had with her. More importantly, be thankful for the time we get with those still here. Love them, laugh with them and be kind to them. Remember just how powerful a smile can be. We love and will miss you Aunt Ju, thank you for everything and we will see you again.-Ry

I'm at a loss for words. My childhood friend for several years. Always a beauty. How sad to read about this. May you be comforted to know that she is one of the prettiest angels in heaven and will always be by your side. I just adored her when we were closer friends. Sad that I did not keep in touch. Love and peace. Marian Allison Kidman

Dear Uncle Gail,
I'm so sorry for the passing of Julie. She was a sweet and caring person and we always had such good conversations. I have a lot of good memories when we were bowling, especially our 1st place wins. Those were such fun times. I believe Julie is in a much better place, free from the heartaches and pain life can bring us.
With love and sympathy, Teresa
