1949 ~ 2015
Kenneth Quinn Bagshaw passed away on May 27, 2015. He was born on August 29, 1949 in Salt Lake City to Marie and Don Bagshaw. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Carol Stoops.
He loved his family more than anything. Any day with Grandpa was the best day ever! He instilled a good work ethic in all of his children, and because of him, they know the value of hard work and helping others.
Ken is survived by his wife Carol, children Scott (Suzie), Lance (Krystal), Ryan (Gina), Rashel (Mike) Bertelsen, sister Linda (Randy) Peck, grandchildren Taylor, Jessica, Zach, Abigail, Sophie, Hailey, Hannah, Jace and Ryker, honorary grandchildren Chance and Kyle. Preceded in death by Don Bagshaw (father), Marie Bagshaw (mother), Mark Bagshaw (brother), Nathan Bagshaw (grandson).
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan, Utah. Viewings will be on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 11:30-12:45 at the funeral home. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Online condolences at www.jenkins-soffe.com.

My sincere condolence to Ken's family. We always had fun on any trip we took. I always said what a good sport Ken was. Our ATV rides could be dusty, rainy, hot, or cold and he always said that he enjoyed every minute of the ride. The only disagreement we ever had, whether it was on an ATV trip, or going with Ken and Carol on a trip or to breakfast or dinners was when it was time to pay and Ken would always think he owed more than he did. Ken was very generous. Ken had a lot he could of bragged about, but the only thing he ever bragged about was his family, rightfully so! I will always consider him to be my best friend and I will miss him greatly.

Ryan and Gena just want to say how deeply sorry I am, he is with the angels in heaven. There's no words that can take your pain away. Dear Carol and family,
We were stunned to hear of Ken's passing. It has always felt like he was kind of part of the family. One could absolutely trust him. You always knew that he was going to do the best job possible. He was an exceptional person, hardworking and meticulous. It seemed that there were few things he couldn't do, and do well. He was also, always kind, gentle and courteous. We all enjoyed him as a person, as well as for his skills and he will be sorely missed by us all.

Wow, what a shock it was to hear Kenny passed. What a wonderfully nice, upstanding, ethical person Kenny was. He was always a good friend to me, even when I made it hard for him to be so. God be with you.

Dear Carol and Family: I still think of our Flaming Gorge trip with our families and going river rafting down the Green river. I remember a couple of months ago when you and Ken were visiting my mom and dad and laughing about something dad and Ken got in trouble for back in school. I feel heartbroken knowing that my mom and dad's two very best friends are now minus one. I feel so happy that on April 24th of this year, my mom and dad were able to spend an entire day with the two of you. My mom had such a wonderful birthday hanging out all day with you guys. I remember calling about 8 pm and you were all still on your way home. I could go on and on, but I mostly want to say how much Ken meant to our family and how much I appreciate your and Ken's long lasting friendship with my parents. My heart felt sympathies go out to the whole Bagshaw family. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I had quite a few one on one conversations with Ken at our get-to-gethers and got to know him and like him a lot.
