To all my cousins,

Our family shares your loss. My Dad, JR Keate, and his Cousin Ken saw each other for the last time recently in Southern California. He has many fond memories of growing up with his Cousin Ken, and both of them painting.

When we were in Salt Lake for a family reuion this summer with the other side of the family, Kay Kvenvold, and her daughters Karen Bailey and Linda Menard (and her husband Dennis) stopped by to say hi to Cousin Ken.

It was a brief visit, but it was good to see him one last time. I do hope that our families can keep in touch.

Dad just turned 81, and living in Santa Ana, CA, with his wife Dottie. He also is feeling his years, but is enjoying the regular communication we are able to have. I will be visiting them over Christmas.

My sister Peggy's husband, John Landwehr, was elected mayor of Jefferson City, MO, last spring. Her two children, Rebecca and David, are teenagers, and very active in Sports.

My brother Ray, just joined a new medical practice in Virginia after resigning from the Mayo Clinic. He, Kathie, and Kimmie, moved to Virgnial this summer. Megan is living in Chicago, and Ian in New York. Katie just started college at the University of Pennsylvania.

Take care and I do hope to see you my next trip to Utah.

On behalf of the JR Keate Family, May God continue to bless you all.
