Kevin Mitchell Obituary
He was a faithful member of the LDS church and served a 2-year mission in Independence, Missouri. He loved to play the organ, and often played for his ward.
Kevin had a lifelong love of learning and attended BYU. He was always searching for a new hobby and had an entrepreneurial spirit. He dabbled in painting, singing, comedy, playing musical instruments, and many other ventures. He was a sort of jack of all trades. He enjoyed making people laugh, and easily made friends wherever he went. He was a BYU fan, blue and true. Kevin loved playing basketball and could often be found playing with friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Venita Elsie Mitchell, children: Heather (Chris) Galbraith and Sarah Mitchell, and one grandchild. Kevin is preceded in death by his father, David Evans Mitchell.
A viewing for Kevin is planned for Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 6-8 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens at 1950 E Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) Sandy, Utah.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 19, 2021, from 11-12 pm at the LDS Stake Center building located at 1300 East and 13400 South in Draper, Utah. Interment to follow services at Mountain View Memorial Estates located at 3115 East 7800 South Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
Funeral services will be streamed via zoom with a link that may be found at www.larkincares.com where condolences may also be shared with the family. -
