Leoncio Romero Gonzalez Obituary

Leoncio "JuneBugg" Romero Gonzalez

1992 ~ 2022

Kearns, UT—Leoncio "Junior" Romero Gonzalez, 29, passed away on February 5, 2022 in his hometown of Kearns, Utah. Although he was taken from us too soon, Junior lived a full and incredible life. He was a hardworking and intelligent man. He accomplished anything that he set out to do. He was on his way to starting his own business, and has completed numerous projects throughout the valley that showcase his many talents. Junior was born September 25, 1992 to Lupita and Leoncio Sr. Romero. His parents were his first priority; he loves them very much. They raised him to be a respectful and kind man with a heart of gold. Junior leaves behind a legacy of the people he helped. He was talented, funny, and always willing to help. Despite the fact that he worked long days, he always found a way to show up for the people he loved. If you needed him, he would find a way. He was everyone's main man. Junior was a man of immense energy and charisma. He was the life of the party. Everyone knew when he was there; his bright smile and contagious energy would light up the entire room. He had a way of making everyone feel special. He always set aside his needs to lift others up. Junior loved everyone, and everyone loved him. He will be dearly missed. Junior loved spending time outdoors, boating, snowboarding, and spending time with loved ones. He leaves behind many fond memories. We lost our beloved son, brother, uncle, partner, mentor, and friend way too soon. He is survived by his mom and dad Lupita and Leoncio Sr. Romero, sister Erika Cynthia Romero (Eduardo) Gonzalez Sanchez, nephews Kevin & Sebastian, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends that were family to him. Junior was always surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their life to the fullest, just as he did. As he would say, "you only live once, run it!" Junior will be honored at Redwood Mortuary on February 14, 2022 from 2-4 pm. Following the viewing, we will meet for Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 5 pm.

Oh June, I just cannot still process this. Your love for the world, my family, your friends and especially your love for your Momma Lupita and Dad Leo was of the greatest love anyone could imagine. You taught the world how to live, love and cherish each moment. I see your face, your laughter and your smile 24/7 and it just makes me want to share you with the world. Those who got to have you in their life are truly blessed beyond measure. This shouldn't be happening but we have no choice but to somehow find a new way without you. Guide us and continue to shine that light onto the world. Love you and will miss you dearly.

Junior was more than a best friend, he was family! He was always the brightest in the room! His energy was remarkable, his smile was charming, his laugh was contagious, and the list goes on. He knew how to stay positive even when things got tough, he was strong and passionate! And he lived everyday how he wanted! There could never be a dull moment with him there. He was both graceful and wild - I loved this about him. He was beautiful in every way possible. I remember our last conversation like it happened today, I promise to keep my promise and work hard like you said. June Bug you´ll live forever in our hearts! I will miss your love, your laugh, and your loud energy. Until I see you again, give heaven some hell XO

I met June through my brothers Robert and Jake when I was younger, always had a smile on his face and could light up any room he was in, my fondest memories will always be those family Lake Powell trips, evidently that was the last thing we were talking about when I seen him was this years up coming trip, it´ll be sad when he won´t be attending this year but we are going to honor his memory and keep on trucking trough it for him as he would want us to do

A few years ago I was able to tag along at Bonanza with my daughter. During the concert we met up with Paige and Junior. He was so respectful to me and very kind. It was like he was happy I was there and he didn´t even know me. It made this mama feel good. RIP to a very sweet soul....I´m thankful for this memory.

Junior was part of our family for many years. We appreciated the quality time that we we were able to spend with him. He was a dear friend to our son his "Primo" Domonick Holeman. Grandma Pat will also miss him and their conversations about life. Our deepest sympathies to all, especially his mother, father, and sister. May time bring you comfort until you are together again.
