Brian and Rene,
Sincere sympathy to you and your family. You have a very large family, which is especially good at a time like this. I have been remiss in not inquiring how your mom was doing lately, as I know she had been battling for a long time. Perhaps you can find some comfort in knowing she is now at peace. God bless all of you.

Lily and I knew each other since we were children. My memories of her as a child was the happy smile, the freckles (adorable) and neatly braided red hair. She and I rode the same school bus and later spent many good times together. Lily was a wonderful mother, her home was a haven for her children then later on her grandchildren. I'll miss her ready laugh and friendly smile. She will truly be missed by all of those who had the priviledge of knowing her.

Miley Family- Sincerest condolences on Lily's passing. I believe I was the boys' first babysitter when you lived in Fridley. "Mr. Miley" was my business education teacher at Columbia Heights High School. I graduated in 1974, so never met you, Penny. The years have passed, but I will always remember Lily's pretty red hair and gentle manner. God's peace. Deb (Gleason) Johnson

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Miley, but her husband I sure did have the pleasure of knowing. Mr. Miley was my Teacher at Columbia Heights High School, and he was a very generous good man. I'm so sorry to hear about Mrs. Miley, I hope and pray for nothing but the best for her family. My best thoughts to this family headed by a great man.

Dean and Family,
It is with sadness that I read of Lily's death today. Please accept my sincere sympathy to all of you. It has been a long time since 1961, when I had both of you in class but I still rememeber you both with fondness and respect. I can't believe that you were married 42 years--10 years less than we have been. If we weren't in Florida, I would certainly attend the service.
Again, my sincere sympathy to you.
Sincerely,
Pat and Cal Headley

The Miley Family,

I can see Lily like it was yesterday sitting in the Anoka High School gym at wrestling matches. She'd be twisting and turning on every move that her boys were making. Keith, Mark and Brian, you boys need to know how much your mother was always in your corner. Penny, I used to joke with Lily that you would've been a better wrestler than all three of your brothers. She would smile and nod her head in agreement. Dean, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
