Linda Ann Hughes

1945 - 2021/Love you everyday

Washington, UT—Linda Ann Hughes, lived her life full of love, kindness and laughter. She left her coat here as she traveled on March 14, 2021 to meet with family and friends that went before her. There are too many to name, but they will all be excited to embrace her, especially her big sisters (Barta, Jerry, RoRo, Kaye-Kaye) and brother (Bubba).

(Along with her high school sweetheart, Kit Enniss and the love of her life, Gary Bryant who she couldn't live without...or with...or without)

Linda (Mumzie, Nanya, & Auntie) is survived by her daughters: Jaimie Enniss and Hollie Enniss-Poe, son-in-law Brian Poe; grandkids Ben and Jax; and many nephews and nieces.

Linda was born in Sandy, Utah on November 14, 1945 to Lila Curtis and Arville Marriott Hughes. She graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Psychology and worked as a therapist with the mentally ill. She was able to share her love of art and creative abilities with those she counseled at The Holden House in Midvale, Utah. Linda was a talented artist using many different mediums, watercolor being her favorite. Family and friends have enjoyed all of her art, from "Doodles" to her masterpieces.

Linda was and will always be devoted to her children and grandchildren. Her smile made us know that her love is endless. Her humor lightened our heaviest burdens. Her hugs carried us when we felt the weakest. We miss her everyday as she left us too soon, but she knew that we would never be ready for this day.

Although she wasn't religious, Linda was very spiritual, therefore A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, April 25 from 1:00-4:00 (open house) at Millennial Falls Event Center in Draper (12375 S 1300 E). Please share your condolences and love online at

She had an amazing, practical sense of humor! Her artistic abilities showed in the way she decorated her homes.

Linda amazed me with her many talents, gifts and willing spirit to explore. She got me when she played the banjo And the spoons. A treasure and joy, I will always smile when I think of her.

My favorite memory of Linda is when Mike and I told her we were getting married and she said, “again?”. She was a good friend, a talented artist, and a lot of fun to be around.

Linda was (still is) a talented and amazing lady! She shared love, laughter and kindness with everyone. We earthlings have a great loss to deal with. Those on the other side are celebrating with a joyous reunion.
My life was blessed having spent much time with her and I am extremely grateful for that time shared! My thoughts, and prayers are with Her beautiful family!
Much love,
