I was fortunate to be Linda's accompanist on more than one occasion (when I was in my late teens, early 20s) whether simply helping her rehearse for an audition or sing in a formal concert. Sometimes we would play, rehearse and talk music for hours on end. She adored music, was probably the best contralto I have ever heard to this day. She was a true artist in every sense of the word and had a great sense of humor. Loved Mozart and had a passion for Grieg. Her voice was perfection and I was in awe every time I heard it.

I am so sorry to see this memory of Linda. Linda and I met at Westminster College. She was one of my bridemaides at my wedding in 1965. I loved her voice and her sweet personality. I am sorry now, that we didn't keep up with each other. I have been married to my sweetheart, Lou Campbell for 51 years and now live in Fort Worth, Texas. Blessings to her family.

I am so sad to know that Linda died. I wish I had searched for her earlier. I sang with Linda in the Ring Cycle in Seattle and she was lovely to be around and a wonderful and lovable person. In the early 80's, I stayed with Linda in her apartment in New York for two weeks. We had so much fun just walking around New York and eating Haagen Dazs ice cream from across the street. I wish I could remember her favorite flavor! We lost touch and I'm so sorry that we did. If any of her family reads this, I send you all hugs. I know Linda is singing her heart out in the universe somewhere, right now.

I first met Linda through Job's Daughters. The friendships and memories from Bethel #1 have lasted a lifetime. Linda has been the constant that has kept us connected. I will miss her friendship, her laughter and her emails.

Linda and I went through elementary school, junior high and high school together. I even went to some Job's Daughters events with her at the Masonic Temple.

When she lived in New York City, I once visited Linda at her apartment. I remember she served "fresh" mozzarella cheese! When she appeared as Brünnhilde at the Capitol Theater here, she got tickets for me.

Linda was not at our high school reunion last August. When I asked someone about her, the person said Linda was back on Grandview Circle and I should call her. I planned to do so but did not get around to it. I'm so sorry I missed the chance to see her again.
